Skills for Life

The Scouts believe in preparing young people with skills for life by encouraging them to do more, learn more and be more. Each week we help over 460,000 young people across the UK enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. Why not join or volunteer today?

Welcome to 1st Farndon

Farndon is a small village in Cheshire that sits between Chester and Wrexham, and contains the crossing gate to Wales! We have an active Scout Group that consists of a thriving Cub Pack, Scout Troop and Explorer Unit for ages between 8 and 18.

Whether you’re a member, looking to join or simply wanting to find out more information then this website should help you. However, do feel free to get in touch with one of our team if you have any questions. Otherwise, go forth and explore!

Adult volunteers

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.
